A Joyful, Nature-Inspired Stone Mill Inn Wedding | Ryan & Caitlin

There was something extra special about Ryan & Caitlin’s Stone Mill Inn winter wedding on March 20—the very first day of spring. While the season was just beginning to wake, their day was already overflowing with life, joy, and meaningful details that perfectly reflected who they are.

With Celtic charm, country roots, and a deep love for the outdoors, their vision came to life in the most beautiful and intentional way.

A Wedding Rooted in Nature

When the bride is a geologist and the groom is a tree surgeon, you know nature is going to take center stage—and it absolutely did.

Even though early spring hadn’t quite brought blooms yet, the property at The Stone Mill Inn delivered everything they dreamed of. The towering evergreens, ivy-covered stone, and warm wood textures created a naturally romantic backdrop. The lush greenery paired with soft, earthy tones gave their wedding a timeless, organic feel that didn’t need a single thing in bloom to feel complete.

Thoughtful Details & Spring-Inspired Florals

The florals by Foster’s Flower Shop were the perfect nod to the changing season. Rich greenery filled each bouquet and arrangement, bringing fresh energy and subtle elegance to the day. The pops of green felt intentional and meaningful—an extension of Ryan & Caitlin’s love for the natural world.

Every detail, from attire to accessories, felt cohesive and true to their vision—effortless, refined, and deeply personal.

From the moment the day began, there was an undeniable sense of excitement. Having spent over a year walking alongside Ryan & Caitlin—from their engagement session to wedding planning—it truly felt like celebrating with old friends.

Their families were incredibly kind and welcoming, and every interaction throughout the day reflected the love surrounding them.

It was absolutely packed all night long—high energy, nonstop laughter, and the kind of celebration you wish could last forever. It’s the kind of joy that reminds me exactly why I love being a wedding photographer.
