Summer Wedding at Bluestone Estate | Dalton & Amy
Dalton and Amy planned a joyful June wedding at Bluestone Estate. Their day felt classic, relaxed, and full of meaning.
They both got ready on-site at Bluestone. However, they chose not to see each other before the ceremony. Instead, they shared their first look at the altar inside Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in downtown Lancaster. That moment was emotional and unforgettable.
A Fun and Intentional Wedding Day
Dalton and Amy kept their bridal party small. They were surrounded by their closest friends and family. Even with a smaller group, the energy was incredible all day long.
Their style was timeless. The black tuxedos paired beautifully with soft blue and white details. This color palette felt perfect for an early summer wedding at Bluestone Estate.
Soft Summer Light at Bluestone Estate
The forecast called for rain, but the day stayed mostly dry. Instead, we had soft, overcast skies. This created ideal lighting for portraits.
Guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the Bluestone patio. The views and atmosphere were relaxed and inviting.
We did get a brief moment of rain during evening portraits. Dalton and Amy embraced it. We captured beautiful images by the pond and on the dock. These portraits felt romantic and natural.
Planning Tip for Church Ceremonies
Planning a ceremony at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and a reception at Bluestone Estate takes extra care.
Always build in more time than you think you need.
Travel, family photos, and transitions can take longer than expected. Extra time allows for portraits before and after the ceremony. It also helps your day feel calm and stress-free.
A Joyful Reception at Bluestone Estate
The evening began with extended family portraits. These moments are always meaningful and worth the time.
After that, Dalton and Amy joined their guests and celebrated on the dance floor. It was the perfect ending to an incredible day.
I love photographing weddings at Bluestone Estate. Each celebration here feels unique, yet timeless. I can’t wait for more summer weddings at this beautiful Lancaster venue.
