I remember the first time I met Amanda – it was 10 years ago, no joke. You see, I was friends with her brother Matt but never really got to know Amanda. Fast forward to last summer when I photographed Matt and Erin’s wedding and Amanda was a bridesmaid. Amanda was such a friendly person – and so funny! At the wedding I met her fiancee Randy and we clicked, Randy and I share the same “wonderfully” dry humor and jokes on jokes were swapped. At that time Randy and Amanda were not engaged but extremely committed so it was only a matter of time until Randy popped the question. It wasn’t too long until I was getting the text from Matt saying “SHE SAID YES”!! And then, my most favorite text from Amanda – ” I am engaged, we need to meet ASAP and begin planning photos!”
Working with Amanda and Randy has been one of the most natural client friendships we have formed, and they are more like family friends to us. They have a very deep love and friendship with each other and it is so beautiful. They are smart and talented making them a dynamic couple. We look forward to their wonderful future together and can’t wait to capture it! Their October lake wedding will be an intimate and elegant affair full of joy, family, and their dog and chief ring bearer. We love you both and can’t wait to see where the roads leads you!
Their session at Wyndridge Farm in York was the perfect location for this couple and I love Amanda’s red dress! Wyndridge has the most beautiful property and food, it’s one of my new favorite locations to do York engagement sessions!
