A Romantic Stone Mill Inn Wedding in York County
Harrison and Danielle’s Stone Mill Inn wedding in Hallam, Pennsylvania was filled with soft spring color, romantic gardens, and joyful celebration. This historic York County venue is one of my favorite locations to photograph because it blends beautiful outdoor ceremony spaces with timeless architecture. As a Central Pennsylvania wedding photographer, I love capturing weddings at Stone Mill Inn because the property offers endless portrait locations throughout the day.
One of my favorite moments from the entire day was their first look and private vows. We had a lovely outdoor location chosen, but just as the moment approached, the rain began. We quickly dashed into The Abbey, and it turned out to be the perfect spot—cozy, intimate, covered, and full of charm. It created the most meaningful space for their private connection and the heartfelt promises they shared.
What truly made the day unforgettable was their incredible mindset and the energy on the dance floor. Thanks to DJ Mark, the reception turned into a full-night celebration where every guest was on their feet. It felt like the exact kind of wedding you hope for—fun, meaningful, and vibrant.
I met Danielle years ago when she was a bridesmaid in a friend’s wedding, and we instantly clicked. Capturing her wedding felt like coming full circle, and seeing her walk into this new chapter with Harrison was such a joy.
Their Engagement Session
We kicked off the wedding journey with the most stunning engagement session at The Hershey Country Club and the Milton Hershey Mansion. The architecture, the views, and their natural connection made the entire session effortless and gave me an extra level of excitement leading into the wedding day.
