I remember the excitement in her voice when she called, “we have a wedding date!” When I first met Lauren she had a stunning ring, a fiancee, but no wedding date or venue. I remember hoping that she would choose us (when she did find a date) because, selfishly, I wanted to photograph them because they are beautiful AND get to know them because, they are awesome people! Lauren is one of the most laid back brides we have ever worked with and has such classic style! Well, she did select us and this summer is their wedding!! We can’t wait :).
When Lauren and I started planning their engagement session I shared the idea of doing blossoms in DC near Cherry Blossom Festival because they live close and I knew it would be perfectly beautiful. Well, except the thousands (not kidding) of tourists HA! Peter found the best spot for their session and their pup Harper to be comfortable away from too many people. We then continued their classic elegance theme and went to the Library of Congress which was amazing!
