We value all of our couples, these days so many people we get to serve and photograph we meet online and get to know each other through the wedding planning process. Some couples are extra special because they are already friends, like sweet Cait and Ryan. Cait’s sister Liz is one of my best friends; I have known Cait over the years from family gatherings and always liked being with her. Fast forward I remember Liz telling me about Ryan and “Cait’s new boyfriend” who was uh-mazing.
Well… in the fall of 2019, Ryan inquired about wedding photography as a surprise because he was planning their engagement and Cait had said, “I would love for Leigh and Peter to photograph our wedding”. Best boyfriend ever right?! I literally said “ah – Cait’s getting engaged” and the secret planning began. It was SO hard keeping the secret, but Christmas 2019 Cait and Ryan officially were engaged and could announce it to the world and we did their engagement session at Caledonia State Park ASAP for Save the Dates.
It’s rare to find such beautiful greenery in winter but WOW what a gorgeous location!!
