THE VENUE
The Hotel Hershey is a historic, iconic, and elegant venue in Hershey, PA. It has always held a special place for me, but the bride Lexie – dreamed about it as a young girl. Her sister shared during her Maid of Honor speech that she said every summer during their vacations, “This is where I want to get married someday!” Her dream came true on August 16 of this year.
Their outdoor stone garden ceremony was perfect with the warm summer sunshine and a breeze. They enjoyed dinner in the historic Castillian room. Lexie is unique because she asked for almost all of her portraits indoors vs. in the gardens. The entire resort is stunning, so it was a dream.
THE STYLE
Reid and Lexie have a sophisticated style with a wink to some floral styles of the past. She honored her Mom was passed by replicating her wedding flowers and colors. Blossom Bliss Floral Designs nailed it!! You can a beautiful book of her Mom’s wedding portraits in her details section. It was wonderful. Incorporating heartfelt sentiments makes your wedding unique and special.
Their wedding schedule was fantastic having a first look, bridal party, and family portraits all before the ceremony.
THE COUPLE
I knew after their Hershey Theatre and Hotel Hershey engagement session in the spring that we were a great fit but I love this couple!! I enjoy how laid-back but intentional they are. With Reid’s preppy charm and Lexie’s timeless style, their wedding was relaxed but traditional at the same time. It was lovely!
