Summertime at The Lodge at Liberty Forge is dreamy, especially for an outdoor ceremony. It has lovely views of the golf course and central PA mountains and a beautiful breeze all while guests enjoy the outdoor patio and indoor ballroom. We had the best time with Mitch and Kailynn, and their parrtttyyy wedding day. It was a relaxed and fun vibe because the bride was so organized and it went off without a hitch. Their first-look wedding schedule made the flow perfect, so the couple had time to enjoy their guests and more of their reception. We did get a chance to sneak away for some sunset portraits and it was stunning (wait till you see that in the blog, just magic).
Kailynn had so many beautiful touches through the decor, family heirlooms, and special moments with loved ones that melted our hearts. It was beautiful to see the harmony in their families and the support of both the bride and groom’s parents. This Lodge at Liberty Forge wedding had a smaller bridal party of just siblings and close friends. The groom’s dad was his best man and it was so thoughtful! We have only experienced that a few times, and I think it is wonderful.
From the beginning of the day with her elegant details to the dance floor and college friends cheering we had an incredible day. BUT do you know the best part? This is where Peter and I had our reception … talk about the feels!! I had to catch myself a few times because it transported me back to our wedding day almost 12 years ago, so sweet.
Mitchell & Kailynn’s summer engagement session is gorgeous – if you like their style, visit the blog to get more inspiration.
This day wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing vendor team!
