Some locations become part of a couple’s story—and for Jacob and Rhiannon, Wyndridge Farm in Dallastown, PA is one of those places.
This maternity session was especially meaningful because Wyndridge isn’t just a beautiful backdrop—it’s where we photographed their engagement session and wedding day three years ago. Returning to the same property as they prepare to welcome their baby felt incredibly full-circle. From celebrating their marriage to now documenting the next chapter of their family, it was such an honor to continue telling their story.
And then there was the weather…
In true Pennsylvania fashion, we experienced snow, sun, wind, and even hail—all within one hour. Instead of fighting it, we leaned into it, and the result was dynamic, emotional imagery that felt authentic and unforgettable.
We photographed throughout some of Wyndridge Farm’s most iconic spaces—the charming chapel, the scenic grounds, and inside the timeless barn for a warm, cozy feel. Being back on the property brought back so many memories and stories from their wedding day, making this session even more special.
The best time for a maternity session
Jacob and Rhiannon scheduled their maternity session right around seven months, which is always my recommendation. At this stage, you have a beautiful, defined bump, great energy, and plenty of time to prepare before your baby arrives. It’s truly the sweet spot for maternity portraits.
I am so excited to photograph their sweet baby arriving this March, and I can’t wait to continue documenting their growing family.
If you’re expecting and dreaming of maternity photos that feel meaningful, relaxed, and personal, choosing a location connected to your love story—and planning your session at the right time—makes all the difference.
