Welcome sweet baby Lainey! I have been anticipating this session for months. I met Holly, the Mom when she was the Maid of Honor at her sister’s wedding. When she requested that I capture their sweet baby I was honored.
THE HEART BEHIND NEWBORN PORTRAITS
As a Mom, I know how overwhelming and exciting the newborn phase is. You want to do everything “the right way” but your body is healing and your baby is learning new rhythms.
I have photographed newborns in many different ways and my favorite is to capture your baby in your home. It’s calm and peaceful because everything you need is at your fingertips. It’s so sweet and personal because you are home.
This newborn session is a perfect example. I captured their family portraits in their living room and did Lainey’s portraits with my mini studio set up in the same room. We were all together in a relaxed setting. It was simple and perfect!
