Growing up in Harrisburg I know the city very well and enjoy the challenge of creating urban images that still have a beautiful and elegant aesthetic that we are known for. Jud and Lara and having a wedding at The Bond in York, so they wanted a similar vibe for their engagement session. Shooting their session at The Harrisburg Capital was such a fun creative challenge. We really enjoy this location, the light is beautiful and it’s such a unique location, being a Harrisburg Wedding Photographer this is a favorite location for us!
Jud and Laura were a tad skeptical at the beginning of their session and had some nerves. This is so common! It was a wonderful time to coach them and encourage them to embrace their love story and unique relationship and chemistry. Peter and I enjoy helping couples feel comfortable and confident, it’s a game-changer! Couples go into their wedding day with such joy and confidence because their engagement session was like a “dress rehearsal” and they gained experience being photographed and have so much fun with us they are excited to do it all over again on the best day of their lives!
