This Stone Mill Inn spring engagement session was so much fun and I can’t wait to spend more time with this sweet couple and capture their gorgeous blue and white chinoiserie-style wedding! Planning an engagement session always starts with a season; some couples like to do a different season than their wedding, and others want their session to coordinate perfectly with their wedding day.
Ethan and Shaylyn wanted their engagement session on the exact day 1 year before their wedding. How cool! Also, it was very difficult to combine schedules – but we did it! This is the same landscaping they will enjoy next year, how fun!
I love how Shaylyn and Ethan incorporated a little champagne picnic into their session, it was fun to capture and told a sweet little story of one of their favorite things – spending quality time with each other. Bringing props to an engagement session isn’t required, and some people like simple sessions, but when you find objects that incorporate your passions, and interests, and tell your love story it elevates your images and makes them more personal.
I am counting days the days to literally one year away when we are all together celebrating your beautiful wedding day at The Stone Mill Inn!
- In exactly one year, we will be creating similar images for their wedding and wow I am so excited :)!!
- The Abby is their ceremony site, and I can invision it covered in florals and their friends and family – so exciting!!
- Her dress is a dream for me, I want it!
- LOVE this enhanced patio at the Inn, it is so beautiful.
