When I think of rustic and historic charm The Star Barn at Brick Gables is at the top of our list. It is a truly iconic piece of local Central PA history, I remember driving by The Star Barn in the 90’s and it was falling apart. It was purchased, restored, and rebuilt at Brick Gables and WOW, it is magnificent! Eric and Katilyn are planning and creating a modern-style wedding with charming rustic touches that celebrate the beauty of the property and the beautiful story of The Star Barn.
Planning an engagement session begins right after a couple books with us and it is a great way for me to learn more about the couple. Eric and Kaitlyn planned a few outfits to reflect their style – one casual and one dressy; which is what we always recommend. During the session, I focused on capturing the architecture of the property and the beautiful fall foliage (the end is just stunning).
This couple drove from West Chester for their Star Barn engagement session and they have the best weather, a little breeze, and a beautiful warm fall day, my heart is so full and I am counting down the days until we can all be together celebrating their wedding at The Star Barn next summer!
