When I dream of a stunning, preppy, and timeless wedding, this West Shore Country Club Wedding is it. Blues and greens were the perfect fresh color pallet for this summer wedding. From the first look on the golf course to the bride twirling on the dance floor with her guests being serenaded by their live band, it was amazing!
THE COUPLE
The bride and groom’s classic preppy style is inspired by their college days in Charleston. Monogrammed stationary, custom costers at cocktail hour, classic calalilies, and champagne flowing it was fabulous! With their careers helping them travel around the world they could have been married anywhere, but she chose her favorite place to celebrate with her family.
THE VENUE
The venue is not only beautiful but very personal – another key point, it’s one of her favorite celebration places. Her parents were beaming all day, laughing and celebrating with their closest friends and family. We had a great wedding schedule with a first look, bridal party, and family portraits pre-ceremony so after the ceremony the bride and groom danced into cocktail hour and started their reception!
When I first met them, they shared how much they love classic photography, but wanted it to feel natural and candid. I love the blend of their portraits, not to brag but … we nailed it! From monograms, tuxedos, crystal flutes, and calla lilies this sophisticated wedding was also laid back since they were so kind and joyful. It was amazing!
Cheers to Mr. & Mrs. Templeton!
