Cherry Blossom Engagement Session at Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine | Baltimore Engagement Photographer
If you’re a blossom lover, this session is going to steal your heart.
Melissa and Sean’s cherry blossom engagement session at Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine in Baltimore was nothing short of magical. Spring sessions are always beautiful, but let’s be honest—Maryland weather can be unpredictable. With temperatures fluctuating so much leading up to their session, we weren’t sure how many blooms would still be around.
But somehow, everything aligned perfectly.
Cherry Blossoms in Baltimore: A Hidden Gem
While many people think of Washington, D.C. for cherry blossoms, Baltimore has its own quiet, stunning pockets of blooms—and we found one of them. Tucked away near the water at Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine, we discovered a small grove of cherry blossom trees still in peak beauty.
It felt like our own little world.
Soft petals drifting in the breeze, the glow of spring light, and the peaceful waterfront made the perfect backdrop for Melissa and Sean’s engagement photos.
A Joyful and Adventurous Engagement Session
One of my favorite parts of this session was how effortless it felt. Sean is incredibly kind and laid-back—completely up for anything (including climbing down a steep hill to reach the water for those dreamy shoreline portraits!). Melissa brought such a joyful energy, and you could feel her excitement in every moment.
Together, they made this session so natural, fun, and full of genuine connection—exactly what you want in engagement photos.
Counting Down to Their Wedding Day
With just 100 days to go until their wedding, this session felt like the perfect way to celebrate this season of anticipation. If their engagement session is any indication, their wedding day is going to be absolutely incredible.
I truly cannot wait to capture it.
