Alexandria, VA is one of my new favorite places close to DC. If I didn’t know better, I would think I was in Georgetown because of all of the amazing charm and historical landmarks we found. This Alexandria, VA engagement session is full of old-world charm.
When choosing a location for your engagement session it’s important to consider a place that is sentimental to you or that creates a memory and that is beautiful. What about a third option that creates excitement through seeing a new place? With all of the resources online it’s fairly easy and fun to “digitally explore” a new location before arriving.
Peter and I always arrive in town ahead of the session to personally scout out landmarks and choose places to shoot. There is so substitute for seeing a location in person. We also think through logistics (like parking, driving times between locations, access details, etc.).
